I think this is quite funny, however it does mean that there is someone who is 'playing with your blog' without talking to Mrs Harford first! Remember this is a shared tool that is to support your learning.

Feedback - Fendalton Friends

I was really impressed with how Liam and Eric led their Fendalton Friends group today.

They spoke with confidence, they ensuring everyone's ideas were listened to. I heard words like 'respect' mentioned during the conversations, plus they involved the entire group. It was great how you showed the younger students that it is important for you to know everyone's name!

Blogging and photosharing

Thanks for your time today Room 10. Learning to blog and photoshare is exciting and can open up many possibilities for your learning. Here are some notes of what we looked at:

• Logging in - www.fendalton.school.nz/10 takes you directly to your class blog. Username and password must be exact otherwise it won't work!
  
• Changing the blog - gadgets, layout, template, etc. Please only change your blog with the agreement of Mrs Harford.
  
• Using labels - This is a crucial blogging skill. Labels allow you to make links to particular sub categories within your blog. Always use your name when putting in a label. This allows you to find your posts again! This is super important!!!
  
• Commenting - this is a great tool for gathering feedback on your learning and providing others with feedback. I suggest you come up with what makes good feedback as a class so everyone knows how to give it and use that feedback to make your learning better.
  
• Putting photos into your blog posts - using the image URL from your class picasa album.
